I understand the reason for this suggestion, and I think it can be cool. This will help prevent people just suiciding by cop to get out of charges, etc, however as was mentioned before, some people can kill you for a silly reason, that isn't necessarily a rule break. I think CKs should be approved/monitored by admins so that we can evaluate if the kill makes sense, and the reasoning leading up to it. I don't want to work for a long time to develop my character and have him get killed for a silly reason, although having the server be a one-life server can be pretty cool.

As long as PK's don't drop as permanent corpses for cops and EMS to clean up like Soylent Green I'm a happy camper.

What about implementing a 3 strike system? If you’re pked 3 times, then your last death becomes a Character Kill.

My opinion? You request a CK, get it accepted and monitored by admin then perform the CK but the CK will make you lose assets so it makes you fear your character more. And since it's accepted by an admin then it does have a great reason but let's say you wanna CK your character because you got bored of him then you apply for asset regain and you get them back, this can be used as well if you get CK'ed by someone else and you've a very good reasoning your assets should be back to you.

Is participating in discussions and providing middle ground solutions difficult for you? 

Understandable. But how do you combat the throw away character mentality by not implementing any repercussions like character kills?

I don't think having everyone CKed on death is a solution, as it can bring more harm than good.

 

Perhaps having a system in which if for example someone obviously tries to avoid RP consequences by getting PKed, they instead get CKed. The other party can create a request for this and have this person CKed.
