Honestly fines should be there for financial crimes that nets a person some money, and probably class A felonies, they're not stuff that players will be committing every day and honestly I believe the financial punishment will serve as a risk factor, people can shrug off time and commit first degree murder, but might think twice and actually properly plan things if it costs them a week's salary or two.

Maybe I've missed but what about probation and public service punishments?

Probation will be part of DoC which it will be added to the penal codes later on

There's Obstruction of Public Duty and Criminal Contempt which are pretty similar in their disruptive nature. Could we get examples of either in action so I know how to differentiate them?

Sorry for missing this. Here is the answer. Criminal Contempt is in regards to mainly court orders. Like someone gets a subpeona for something, and refuses to act upon it. Where as Obstruction is more so in the field, like refusing to follow orders of a police officer or firefighter, trying to prevent someone reporting a crime, etc. One is more so court ordered then the other, although there can be similarities.

When I get the court operational, I'll see about implementing those into the code. But for now, we won't have them.
