  4. I've seen universities before - on LS:RP (twice) and on GTA:W. Eventually this type of faction ends up a shithole, sadly. Let me explain my point: faction like university should be a platform for characters to develop. For example, the way I did it - I created a new character, got enrolled, studied, played sports and eventually joined a mob crew, starving for money and respect IC. University faction should allow players to develop into doctors, cops, scientists, business owners, marketing managers, etc etc. What I hated about GTA:W's university is that people actually join it to full time RP a student - partied every day, acted like baboons/virgins towards any female around and tried to be besties/partners with a teacher. It looked so cringe, like they couldn't get enrolled IRL so they went to university in GTA. If we could make a faction with leaders actually promoting people to develop their characters and find opportunities for work/internship, it'd be amazing. If not? That'd be a waste of time and full of "empty" characters with no roleplay goal.
  5. I think there should be a starting payment, that'd allow you to purchase a car or a house/apartment, based on your character's background. Not sure how it can be done, maybe through a request on UCP, where you describe your character, etc. Otherwise, the whole Liberty City will be filled with broke characters at start, which is quite stupid.
  6. I like the content, but the graphics could use some help. Good luck anyway, LC is a fun place for this sort of RP.
  7. It's hard to do nowadays, but it's still possible with small shops, especially if the owners are the same nation as you. Plus, you don't need to "racket" them - you can launder money through places with a small cut to the owners, there's tons of RP to do around that. You just gotta play smart. Even if you do it incorrectly, it shouldn't be OOC problem. If you fuck up in-game with your behavior or actions, police will get your ass, simple. About CKs. I don't think that saying "no" should be a reason to kill the shop owner. You can destroy his business, you can shut him down (especially if you got ties in the government), etc. IF the shop owner gets you in trouble with police, reports you, records the conversation and then shows it to the government, then yeah - it can be a reason to brutally injure, or even kill him. To conclude, I agree with people above - the extortion roleplay should be fun for both sides. You can even PM the business owner on forums and discuss this type of roleplay, for example if the business is directed towards a certain group of people (for example, a company that helps immigrants with papers/jobs). I don't promote scripted roleplay, especially if this roleplay is coming from OOC friends, but in certain scenarios the RP I described above can be fun not just for both parties, but for majority of players. Also, as I've mentioned, low standards RP shouldn't be illegal from OOC point of view. People, who don't know stuff about extortion and try it, will end up in cuffs anyway, so it'd be better to keep it IC.
  8. We need 3 strikes system just like real life. You fuck up three times and get caught? You either spend shit ton of money on lawyers or go to prison for good. Heh.
  9. In my opinion, we should keep the real life teams. Why? Because people rarely talk about them IG, in my opinion. Most of the people wear the attributes for the drip or to represent a gang. I haven't seen people discuss NBA games in-game in a while, so it wouldn't hurt to have Brooklyn Nets, etc. Change my mind?
