  1. If you're smuggling kilos in your car or have a warrant out on your character for something like murder, then I think killing a cop shouldn't be classified as deathmatch. If you only have one pistol on you, a few grams of drugs, or a petty warrant and you kill a cop then it could be classified as deathmatch. At most, you should only resist arrest/attempt a getaway in that type of situation.
  2. In reply of the stealing car issue, every server I played that had NPCs, they all were scripted so you couldn't ninja jack them
  3. yep, I had noted that. The biggest "what if" is how the NPCs would react. Would there be a way to make an NPC stay at scene for a set amount of time? As for GTA 5 peds dying, I imagine it would be pretty easy to ensure they all have godmode. But I figure everything else would be a very difficult task to deal with. Especially the artificial intelligence and pathing part. Like I said before, this isn't a feature I'm expecting to see any time soon, it's just something to take in consideration for the distant future
  4. I hope the Northern Gardens is roleplayed something like RPT!!
  5. Obviously, I'm not looking for NPC traffic to be implemented anytime soon yet, (and that's even if this idea is considered) but what do you guys think? Would it pose more negatives than positives? Before I get off into the discussion, I'm only talking about HIGHWAYS. NPC traffic in the regular roads would just be too chaotic. Alright, so I'm going to list the negatives first off rip. Some of the negatives that I can think of is the sync issues and memory issues maybe. But others have told me that it actually wouldn't even be a problem so I'm not sure. Another possible negative is that some people just DESPISE every and all NPC activity. I'm not really sure why, so I created this discussion to see their perspective on this. One of the main reasons they seem to list though is how it isn't traditional for RP servers. I feel like LCRP doesn't have to be traditional although and could be separated as it's whole different beast compared to other servers. Now, the positives. The number one positive of NPC traffic in the freeways is just atmosphere and immersion. One of the main things NYC is known for is it's traffic, (recently overtaking LA.) No more going into a freeway and just driving 150-200 MPH in a ghost highway because you know there's no risk. This time, it would actually punish certain players who do such unrealistic driving (if they don't have the driving skill that is). Also, it would greatly nerf fast cars during cop pursuits. On most roleplaying servers, mallrats would just get their riced up cars, purposefully attract cops, drive straight down the highway with their maxed out acceleration and speed, and the cop cars wouldn't be able to keep up with them. NPC traffic in freeways would eliminate/lessen that greatly. Because now, you can't just do that unless you're ACTUALLY confident in your driving skills. No more getting maxed out cars and driving straight. If you get into a crash, you would have to roleplay that car crash. One of the main reasons why I'm suggesting this is because NYC has lots of culture involving express ways, highways, & freeways. There's a whole scene in New York where people drive in jammed up traffic in the express ways, swerving in and out of lanes, & dodging cars, recording themselves while doing this by the way. This activity is known as "cutting up." It's not exclusive to New York, but it's very cultural there. This would create big avenues of roleplay opportunity involving Car Enthusiast factions. Not only that, but it could greatly create roleplay for police officers too, as it would start a whole new unit. The Liberty City Highway Patrol unit. One of the main things that would have to be enforced is the roleplaying of car accidents. But, another negative I found is how would NPCs be treated during those scenes? Would we just roleplay how they would react in /do or what? You guys let me know what you think of this idea.
  6. Thanks for the new additions, some of these terms I've already implemented, thanks nonetheless. I'm going to add blockwork, tizzy, Pop-on, the cop terms, & 550/colorblind.
