  1. Great job. Toss more coal onto the fire, got to keep this train going.
  2. Like Chef said, I'd love to see more narrative driven roleplay. Build a story from the start and see it finished - regardless of how that end comes. But in the end, I just want to see more roleplay period and less of the obvious cancerous metagaming that eventually spreads throughout communities and kills them. Roleplay period - anything and everything that realistically fits within the continuity, culture and era of which LC-RP is trying to represent virtually. Build a story and understand that it ends.
  3. This is exactly what a rogue A.I. would say as it tried to lower the suspicions of the group it was trying to infiltrate and exterminate. You can't fool nor catch me "dean". Is that even your real designation?!
  4. Oil, gas(petrol), diesel period should exist and should be a commodity on this server regardless. Companies are just a boon which would come from it. This is a wonderful idea which I have been a lobbyist for with every project I've been involved with. Yet for some reason, which was usually laziness, it was usually put on the back burner and eventually forgotten. Wholeheartedly onboard with this as the dynamic it would bring would be wonderful addition and provide alternate avenues for character employment (not only in the oil industry, but all the branches of said industry).
  5. Good job. Quite enjoyed that.
  6. Is there a particular reason and or script limitation that only allows the development of a poker/blackjack script as opposed to a generic script which emulates a deck of cards? I'm genuinely interested.
  7. Started roleplaying on LSRP in 2008. Quit that garbage and went onto MTA. Quit that garbage a few times to go back to LSRP off and on until 2017 when I quit that garbage for good and popped into GTAW before launch. Played GTAW till 2020 until I quit that garbage and now I'm here.
  8. Saverio Urzi From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Saverio “Sammy Bridges” Urzi (born July 1, 1958) is a Liberty City mobster and soldier in the Gambino Crime Family. Law enforcement considers Urzi to be the “Gaetano Badalamenti of the 21st Century” and remains one of the key individuals in retaining cordial relations with mainland Italian and Sicilian criminal Families for the Gambinos’. In 2008, Urzi was arrested along with dozens of other mafiosi from both the United States and Italy in connection with Operation Old Bridges. Early Life Urzi was born on July 1, 1958, in the comune of Trecastagni in Catania, Sicily to Alberto “Al Brown” Urzi and Nina (née Saia) Urzi and was the eldest of six children. His father operated a grocery in Trecastagni and a pizzeria in Beechwood City, Broker, with the former maintaining a subpar standard for the family. To help supplement his income Alberto utilised several of his connections to the Inzerillo Mafia Clan of Palmero and became a low level criminal within the organisation. The matriarch of the Urzi family, Nina, was and remained a homemaker until their migration to the United States. Rather than complete his highschool education, Urzi opted to drop out and assist his family with their financial struggles by finding employment. During his time employed as a construction worker the tensions between the Inzerillo and Corleonesi Mafia Clans of Palmero began to increase and eventually erupted into conflict in the late 1970s. It is believed by Sicilian law enforcement that with the escalation of tension between the Palmero Clans Alberto press ganged his son into service and utilised him as a go-between. Urzi’s involvement with his father’s low level criminal escapades during this time is believed to be the foundation for his criminal presence and reputation which retained its lustre upon their transition to the United States in the early 1980s. Criminal Career The Beechwood Bunch The violent conclusion to the Second Mafia War for the Inzerillo Clan at the hands of Corleonesi Clan bosses Salvatore Riina and Bernardo Provenzano came in 1982. The remnants of the Inzerillos were subsequently exiled from Sicily by the victor as a result of pressure from their American Cosa Nostra counterparts. While not directly in the line of succession nor a person of importance, Alberto Urzi opted to flee Sicily with his family regardless. Settling in Beechwood City, Broker, the elder Urzi utilised his reputation to garner connections to several individuals involved in Liberty City’s booming Cosa Nostra underworld, one being Paolo “Paulie Scat” Reina, a tenured mobster and father to Gino "Gigi Onions" Reina, who was a staple within the Duke’s Sicilian faction of the Gambino Crime Family. At the behest of Reina, Alberto invested what little savings he had retained from his time in Sicily into a small pizzeria in Beechwood City; Alberto’s Pizzeria. Saverio Urzi’s criminal progression only garnered haste with his migration to Liberty City. Building on the foundations that his father had laid down back in Sicily, Urzi was able to not only retain the drug network he had begun to bolster in Sicily, but expand on said network in the United States. Alberto now was believed by law enforcement, who was investigating the infamous Pizza Connection, to be one of several key figures in the trafficking and distribution of narcotics in Liberty City. Alberto would later be arrested and convicted along with 22 other Sicilian born defendants. He would later die in prison from cancer. With their network now cemented along the border of Dukes and Broker through their supposed legitimate business Urzi expanded on his criminal repertoire, dabbling in illegal gambling and shylocking. As a result of this a growing populace of criminals frequented Alberto’s Pizzeria and was subsequently dubbed “The Beechwood Bunch” by local and federal law enforcement, an obvious reference to the early 1970s television show The Brady Bunch. Rising in the Gambinos Urzi by 1989 had several lucrative revenue streams which allowed him to line both the pockets of Gaetano Petraza and himself. Gaetano Petraza was a prominent figure and caporegime in the Gambino Crime Family and father to the future boss of said criminal organisation, Ennio Petraza. Developing a sense of security with his current financial situation, Urzi would invest in several businesses throughout Dukes and cement his presence in the community. In 1988, Urzi loaned a large quantity of money to Gambino associate Harold Roselli under the premise that this money would be used to save his failing business, a junkyard. Although local and federal law enforcement believe that Roselli used this money to square away several debts to other criminal elements of Liberty City which resulted in the eventual collapse of his business and a fracture in the relationship between Roselli and the Gambinos. In December of 1989 Urzi was pictured with Roselli outside of Alberto’s Pizzeria belittling him. Three months later the body of Harold Roselli was found in the trunk of 1985 Albany Emperor which was located in the long term parking of the Francis International Airport. Urzi was a suspect in the murder but was never indicted on said charge. Shortly after the murder of Harold Roselli the Liberty City Police Department, through informant information, believe that Saverio Urzi was officially inducted into the Gambino Crime Family. Tale of Two Bridges Urzi’s reputation and presence, while not unknown to law enforcement, was amplified ten fold when they were able to obtain information through informant Joseph Vallero, who recorded several conversations with members of the Gambino Crime Family, one which included Urzi. In these recordings members can be heard discussing the potential surgence of the relationship between both the Gambino Family and the Sicilian Mafia. The operation to dismantle this relationship became known publicly as Operation Old Bridge. On February 7, 2008 dozens of individuals were arrested in connection with the operation, this included Saverio Urzi. He would be indicted on drug trafficking and racketeering charges but would plead guilty to the racketeering conspiracy charge and receive 35 months; he would be released in May 2011. A second attempt at reconnecting the Gambino Family to Italy was made in 2014 and the Operation to foil the plan was dubbed Operation New Bridge. This attempt was aimed at connecting the Gambinos with Calabrian Mafia, or 'Ndrangheta. Once again law enforcement was able to squash the attempts and arrest several dozen people in raids which spanned the Atlantic. Urzi was not arrested or indicted at the conclusion of this operation, but Gambino associates and members were recorded speaking about a “Sammy Bridges” out of Dukes - an obvious reference to Saverio Urzi who has long gone by the anglicized name “Sammy” and or “Sam”.
