  1. 1. Given that a lack of script jobs was a major factor in this whole relaunch thing - is little progress in two jobs (in almost two and a half months) enough progress to seriously consider a relaunch at all? 2. Garbage job was completed in an earlier version of the script - is this not salvageable to speed up development? 3. Roadmap is lacklustre to say the least - how many jobs would you like to see in the script before relaunch? Also yes, the image link is broken.
  2. Approaching the 3 week mark, is there any intention for regular updates? Being a relaunch, one would hope to see rapid progress of remedying the identified issues and proactive community updates/engagement (not having to search through #general for unofficial whispers from staff members). But if we're to face a repeat of the last development phase, surely not.
  3. IC Business Page now live.
  4. An in-depth learning of the lore shouldn't be a prerequisite for playing the server when it's based on one of the best known cities in the world. Have a short multiple-choice section that just confirms a basic understanding of the rules, and a way to test for character-building skills that doesn't require an essay.
  5. Hopeful but at the end of the day, hard to predict using discord metrics. Interesting take though.
  6. I think I've disagreed with almost everything @Rodrigo_Ferrer has said in the past, but he brought up some valid points here. The response he was given was poor and disappointing to read. Hope the server releases one day, but for now I'll throw it in the same category as LSRP and just have a peek every six weeks or so.
  7. Sort of goes against the big push for a closed-ish economy. Electric companies should get $ from power bills, oil/gas should get $ from fuel costs.
  8. BROKER PRODUCE Broker Produce (BP) has been a family-run logistics company for close to a century. Originally starting in East Hook, Broker before expanding to their current center of operations in Algonquin, BP have maintained a steady and cost effective source of fresh produce. With contacts and long-term business relationships with farmers and horticulturalists throughout the state of Liberty, the greater north-east, and throughout the Caribbean, BP have reliably delivered on contracts with restaurants, bars, supermarkets and institutions throughout the city. With 2023 fast approaching, the family-focused business has failed to remain competitive amongst the modern, technologically-driven, highly politicised and globalised nature of the world. BP’s new owner; Bronson Beck, has vowed to try and maintain the familiar culture of BP while propelling the business forward and ensuring competitiveness and adaptability in today's market. Broker Produce aims to provide a roleplay-rich, community-based trucking and delivery environment devoid of the almost-OOC structure and RPG nature of trucking companies in other communities. Both IC and OOC, BP encourages individual development within the company, rewarding well thought-out and constructed characters. This will include things like running internal courses and paying for further education (i.e. through IC university(ies)), supporting social clubs, realistic interaction with the illegal sphere on the server, encouraging realistic pride in vehicles and vehicle upkeep, and relevant opportunities through IC business expansion.
  9. Just RP where you want and claim what you want IC. We don't need a map. One of the horrible antiquities of old SAMP servers that no matter which way you paint it is blatant metagame. @Geo given there's apparently no official view on this sort of map in the first place, you're getting pretty excitable. Going after TDP is no way to do anything.
  10. I'm of the opinion this should be entirely IC.
  11. You literally said you would leave the server if it meant you couldn't roleplay at a nightclub. Even with immersion rules like that, a TZ is naturally going to be disadvantaged. You just don't want it to be you - which is fair enough. If I wanted to go clubbing on RP, it has to be on a weekend morning. I've had to deal with that for 15 years.
  12. It's laughable because of the desire to turn this into nightclub simulator 2.0 instead of maybe exploring other avenues of roleplay that other times of the day might open up.
  13. I'm Australian. I lose either way. Stick with EST. Be different. I remember reading somewhere we're gonna try emulate whatever the weather is like in NY, be ridiculous not to include the timezone. The whole nightclub argument is laughable.
  14. Attracting bus/train drivers - offer them high pay, and/or an NPC train system. Give them blips on map. High vehicle registration fees. High parking fees. High towing fees. High fuel cost. High maintenance requirements. Every cost associated with cars = make it expensive to drive a car in Liberty City. Another effect of this will be people riding to work, or combining the two. The subway system alone makes me excited af. Would love to actually have activity at subway stations/bus stations.
  15. have had a few good nights at shenanigans
