  1. In the quote above, it says that players can't claim or portray large-scale criminal organizations entirely, but may represent descendancy or a far connection... Would this apply to street and prison gangs? For example, the United Blood Nation is a prison gang that unites the East Coast Blood gangs. Now imagine a faction that falls under the Blood gang. This isn't a "far" connection nor is it descendancy. It also doesn't portray the organization entirely either since most of these gangs are essentially alliances between all the sets of the gang and infighting occurs from time-to-time. Another similar yet different example would be MS-13. Imagine a faction that portrays an MS-13 set. It might be completely fictional or based on an IRL set. Same as above, this faction isn't the entire organization, it's not a far connection, it isn't a descendant, and is simply a faction that would fall under the MS13 umbrella. I assume this is allowed since my thread and a few other threads fall under these types of factions, and the threads are still up... but I figured it should be added to the Environment Consistency Policy to avoid confusion, as some people might consider these factions as large-scale criminal organizations and as noted above, portraying a set isn't descendancy or a far connection to these organizations. Also... what else can we assume about prison gangs such as United Blood Nation? Taking how the Five Families are portrayed into consideration, I assume it would have to be like an FST-approved faction but might as well ask while I'm here.

  3. Usually one character, until he gets to a point where he has no need to grind and can enjoy life. At this point, I keep the character steady and keep them at the top, before juggling another character in. This character however is the opposite where I immediately try to gatekeep him from advancing like the first character. This is because the second character is usually approved to be in the same faction, and can't be given certain ranks. This actually tends to help with the gatekeeping as the second character usually ends up CKed or in jail. So yeah, one character but if I ever hit two then one stays at the top, and the other usually gets held back before getting anywhere. I think this is because I'm usually a leader in the factions within which my characters operate, so I'm always trying to hit one goal with numerous projects such as one character working minimum wage at a legal front for the faction, meanwhile the other character is getting his money laundered through the same legal front. Whenever I'm not in a faction though, I strictly roleplay on one character.

  5. Introduction I've had this guide up in my faction Discords since August 2020, and have welcomed all others to use it in their Discords but then I realized I could just put it on the forums as well. These guides will show you how illegal street-dice on the streets of Liberty City is played; Shooting Dice & Gambling When you're out of passive roleplay, and everyone is just standing around. Start up a game of dice, keep the hood active and make it fun while you rep the set. A popular dice game on the East Coast is known as 'Cee-lo', and no it's not based off of CeeLo Green. Gamble little (or big) amounts of money with a small group of people, even fifty dollar games with four players bring a profit of a hundred and fifty dollars. Roleplay using three dice, and one or more players, and you can get a game going that's bound to last at least 2 rounds. Cee-lo (456) Instructions Everyone wagers the same amount of money, and then you start. Each player takes turns in a counter clockwise, starting with whoever (1st round) and winner (every other round). You roll the three dice to get the highest number or a 4, 5, and 6. Rolling 4, 5, 6, is an automatic win. Rolling 1, 2, 3, is an automatic loss. You keep rolling to get yourself a number. This is when you get a pair and a single, or triples. The single is your number. If you roll triples, that's also your number. The player who rolls the highest number (or the first to roll 4, 5, 6) wins and takes all the money. So for example, if you roll a 2, 2, and 6... then 6 is your number. If you roll a 6, 6, and 1.. then 1 is your number. Some hoods/areas do triples different. Some places, triples means you (and only you) re-roll. Some places, triples is the same as rolling two singles and a pair so the number rolled becomes your number. Some places, rolling triples allows you to choose between the two options above. I've even heard of places where rolling triples resets the entire round, forcing everyone to re-roll. You should roleplay rolling the three dice by using a /me, then follow through with three separate /dice instances. This will roll three numbers. If you did not get a number and must roll again, you should do another /me to help organize each dice roll so you don't miss it if someone gets their number. 7-11 (Street Craps) Instructions While I recommend everyone play Cee-lo, because this game is different almost everywhere AND it is less common on the East Coast. You can still play it if you don't like Cee-lo. Everyone has to roll both dice. The person who rolls the highest becomes the roller for the round. If there is a tie, players who tied re-roll and the highest roll wins until there is no more ties. You finally start the game once you have a roller. Once this roller is selected, players can make their initial bets starting with the roller. Everyone must collectively bet the same amount as the roller, and if other players want to bet more, they must find another player to match the bet. For example, if the roller bets two hundred dollars, in a game with four others, each player must bet fifty dollars. Roller is betting on a "pass" which means that you bet the two dice will come out to '7' or '11'. Others are betting on a "crap" which means that they bet the two dice will come out to '2', '3', or '12'. Once players have placed their bets, the roller then rolls the two dice. If the dice do not pass nor crap, then the number rolled becomes known as the point. All "pass" bets become a "point" bet, which means you are betting that the roller rolls the point before he rolls a 7. All "crap" bets become a "7 out" bet, which means you are betting that the roller rolls a 7 before he rolls the point. The roller then rolls the dice again until the round is over, and the point or 7 has been reached. You should roleplay rolling the two dice by using a /me, then follow through with two separate /dice instances. This will roll your two numbers. If you must roll again, make sure you stop to ensure that the script rolling is not stacked and lost in a wall of text by doing another /me. If you win as the roller, you take everyone's cash. If other players win, they take yours and split it. Upon winning, the winner(s) doubles their money.

    One Word Story!

Once, there once was a wizard that many feared because he was gay asfuck and nutted on his boss’ dog during extreme ejaculation. Elon notices and died moaning. Then Drake ate a mushroom that made his dog grow into his sister's coochie. Therefore, at exactly 6pm, a knight screamed: AO MA! Show tits now respectfully m’lady. Sadly, she had six hundred dicks instead. Now, release my German pussies after I shavemy DeezNuts. YesterdayI danced with Rihanna because cock tastes sweet and sour. Regardless, Jake decided
  7. This has always been an issue in roleplay and has never made any sense. You know how many times I've gotten away scot-free despite doing like 200 mph, clearly intoxicated, maybe even reek of something, gun on the seat next to me. But then a pursuit/shooting pops off and the cop just does the "looks like its ur lucky day" and rushes back to the cruiser to join in on the 15 man chase. This should definitely be moderated on LCRP too, seeing as how there is lots of alleys and corners for escape routes, lots of potential for someone to get hit by a speed demon, let alone the 15 cop cars going the same speed behind them.
  8. This is not a troll thread. More than 80% of gang roleplayers invested in this server feel the same. We feel that removing IRL clothing brands and forcing lore friendly clothing takes away too much from the culture we need to appropriately and accurately portray our factions. Our factions are practically replicas and slight spins on the gangs that actually exist in New York. If clothing brands are meant to be lore friendly, then gangs should also be lore friendly and therefore Crip and Blood gangs shouldn't be allowed to exist if brands like Nike and Adidas do not exist.
  9. Title says it all. I've recently found out that all clothing additions are supposed to be lore-friendly. This will literally lead to the thing that has doomed GTA:W. Literally every gang will just install their own mods, and all these gangs will use nearly the same modpack but with more appropriate textures for their gang. I don't know about you guys but if I don't have my genuine Timberlands, North Face jackets, or other IRL brands, then I will either A) add them in at the cost of looking goofy on everyone else's screen, or B) advocate 100% lore friendly server, and remove all NY based gangs. I'm sure many are interested in RPing on the East Coast, and yes, we will pretend that New York doesn't exist but we're not pretending that Nike doesn't exist, or that Timberlands aren't a thing. If Hermes doesn't exist because Perseus is the lore-friendly version, then Crips shouldn't exist because the Ballas are the lore-friendly version. If you want me to keep my clothing lore friendly, then I want you to keep the server lore friendly. Simple as that. That being said, just allow IRL brands before I stop allowing IRL gangs.
  10. See, I completely understand where you're coming from but this isn't something that can be done 100% one way or the other, and there will always be somethings that are taken from IRL and somethings taken from GTA lore, but I just don't thing clothing brands should be one of them because it upsets the balance. I can live with calling Sprite - Sprunk instead but I can't live with calling Adidas - Heat, because it upsets the balance and makes me want it one-way. If we want to be so lore-friendly, then how come Crips and Bloods exist? Their counterparts are the Families and the Ballas. If we're adhering such lore, then factions based on IRL gangs should not be allowed either as if this isn't New York, then there shouldn't be New York gangs. If you're wondering what I mean by that... well I mean that the following factions that are literally using IRL New York gang's names shouldn't be allowed since this isn't New York, it's Liberty City. By your logic, the Broker 23 Insane Baby Crips would have to be the Broker 23 Insane Baby Ballas, and the Gorilla Stone Bloods would have to be the Gorilla Stone Families. I'm positive that following GTA lore to a T is bad for roleplay, and removing some IRL clothing brands from the server definitely upsets the balance and will push for things to go another way because me personally? If I have to call Timberlands - Hinterland instead? Then I lose immersion and don't want to do something like DDP that exists in New York because there is a replacement for DDP already in GTA lore called DDD - Dominican Drug Dealers. DDD, the GTA lore version of my faction is actually a mix of the IRL DDP and the IRL Trinitarios... So how can DDD and Trinitarios exist in the same universe? Here are a few factions that are based on IRL New York gangs. https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/460-gorilla-stone-bloods-apes https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/76-broker-7463-gangster-disciples/ https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/31-broker-23-insane-baby-crips/ https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/307-es-823-gangster-stone-crips/ https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/435-project-latin-kings/ https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/79-dukes-makk-balla-brims/ https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/19-gov-greg-johnson-housing-project-trinitarios https://forum.lc-rp.mp/index.php?/topic/244-six-block-ddp
  11. By that logic, then real life gangs should also have nothing to do with ones roleplay. Clothing brands are part of gang culture, and if you want to keep things lore-friendly with vehicles, businesses, and clothing brands... then you should keep it lore-friendly with factions and remove all portrayal of New York gangs such as the following factions that follow New York lore. It is very hard to take inspiration from IRL gangs that have made clothing brand part of gang culture. Brands like Timberlands are known throughout New York youths, and praised. People would get clowned for wearing Wal-Mart knock-offs but here? Now we have to name our own knock-offs because if Givenchy doesn't exist, then the Russian Givenchy knock-off named Givochey doesn't exist, and so now I have to use a made-up reference to roast someone on the street for wearing knock-offs. If Fendi doesn't exist in our world, then how can I bring it up? Fendi is a slang in New York for saying something is true. "That's Fendi" means "That's correct" or "That's accurate". There is already a solid balance of lore between RP and IRL, with the cars being named with lore in mind but if you want to make every single thing lore-friendly... Then you no longer take inspiration from New York. Now you are taking ideas from New York and making knock-offs. So what do you do when you take no inspiration from New York? Well... when you take no inspiration from New York, then you cannot research gangs and portray them how they would be IRL... You just gotta believe you're portraying right because now you're not based on IRL, you're on fictional counter-parts. For example, IRL, the Gambino Crime Family was at one-point the strongest New York crime family but that position has since been reclaimed by the Genovese Crime Family in the 2000s. Meanwhile, the Gambino's GTA 4 counter-part, the Gambetti Crime Family is still the most powerful family since their take over in 1958 (which is funny because Gambino took over as the strongest in 1957, pushing Genovese to the 2nd strongest). This goes to show that while GTA 4 has created a fictionalized version of New York, it hasn't made as many clothing brands, car brands, and fast food chains as you would see IRL (because it's just impossible to do so) and because of that, IRL clothing brands SHOULD exist in the server. I guarantee you that most gang members are just going to use the mods they already have and retexture them for New York, and they are 100% going to use IRL clothing brands because again, R* simply cannot provide the culture and clothing brands we need to portray our factions and characters appropriately.
  12. Agreed completely. I don't know much about the Italian scene in GTA:W but the GTA:W server standards and faction management methods are not something I agree with anyhow so I understand completely why you wouldn't want to be forced to RP their existence. I've changed my mind. Maybe big events in GTA:W's Los Santos could be RPed here but you're right, the RP that GTA:W characters and factions would force should not be a thing. I still stand by the idea of Unified Roleplay between servers, but unfortunately you reminded me that the standards of roleplay does have to be considered and for that reason, I now agree that GTA:W would not be a good fit.
  13. I would much much rather wear real brands. There aren't enough lore-friendly clothing brands to provide me with the RP I want to portray. I understand doing it for cars and businesses, but not for clothes. I'm completely fine with having both IRL clothing brands and R* lore-friendly brands, but IRL clothing brands should 100% be on the server. If we're going lore friendly, does this mean I should L&A my New York based faction and recreate the R* friendly GTA 4 counterpart instead? Cause I really really do not want to RP as someone from this gang. https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Northwood_Dominican_Drug_Dealers.
